On Wednesday, the University of Zakho participated in the closing ceremony of the e-Learning Professional Training Program, which was held by the American Organization-IREX in cooperation with the American Embassy in Baghdad and the Iraqi and Kurdistan Ministries of Higher Education.

The University of Zakho participated with a team of professors from various faculties and colleges of the university; With the aim of developing their capabilities in the field of applying e-learning in the educational process, and the ability to train faculty members and university employees in the future.

Most Iraqi and Kurdistan universities participated in the course, which lasted for three months, during which the participants received extensive lessons and abundant information in the field of e-learning.

The closing ceremony was witnessed by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid- Deputy Minister the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Joan Muhammad Fuad- General Director of Scholarship and Cultural Relations at the Kurdistan Ministry of Higher Education, as well as Mr. John Kinkanon-Public Affairs Adviser to the American Embassy in Baghdad, and a number of university presidents and their assistants.
